The cross-country ski trails in Mayrhofen start very close to our Resort Hotel Neuhaus. You will find around 40 kilometres of excellently groomed cross-country trails around the Mayrhofen-Hippach ski region. Most of them are suitable for the classic style. However, some of them are also suitable for skating. The longest trail leads directly from Mayrhofen to Hollenzen. The 25 kilometre long regional trail leads from Zell am Ziller to Mayrhofen. The cross-country trails in Mayrhofen and in the Zillertal are groomed from a snow cover of a density of 30 centimetres. With the good snow conditions in the Zillertal, you can look forward to excellent cross-country skiing conditions throughout the winter. There are a total of 16 cross-country trails in the area around Mayrhofen, which are mainly spread over the two districts of Hippach and Burgschrofen and all have different levels of difficulty. For more experienced cross-country skiers we recommend the high-altitude trail Schwendberg, which rewards with breath taking panoramas.

The Zillertal with its length of around 40 kilometres leaves nothing to be desired for cross-country skiers of all levels. Over 125 kilometres of trails are part of the network of the most active valley in the world. They are all kept in top condition and are regularly groomed and maintained. The offer ranges from comfortable cross-country trails that lead along the valley floor to challenging high-altitude trails such as the 9-kilometre-long cross-country trail near Tux in the rear Zillertal.
In Uderns you also have the possibility to cross-country ski at night: The floodlit trail is not the longest at 1.5 kilometres, but this makes it all the more suitable for a night time cross-country trip in the Zillertal. The leader in the number of cross-country trail kilometres is clearly the nearby Fügen with Kaltenbach, Strass, Stumm and Uderns: A whole 53 kilometres of trails are waiting to be discovered by you. For example, the 10-kilometre-long Promenade Trail, which runs along the rails of the legendary Zillertal Railway and the banks of the Ziller River.
