Experience - HIKING

WHAT A WANDERFUL LIFE

HIGH UP AT 8 WEEKS - A TRUE ZILLERTAL GIRL, OUR FINI MARIE

The youngest of our family is already exploring the mountains around our Neuhaus Zillertal Resort with her dad Sebastian and mum. 1,400 km of hiking trails - a world of adventure for young and old. But where is the best place to go with our youngest? The tour should be family-friendly, not too steep and not too wide. The panoramic circular trail around the Penken seemed perfect to us and was also one of daddy Sebastian's favourite tours.

We grabbed our backpacks and Fini - and then we were ready to go. We took the Finkenberg cable car to the middle station at 1,800 metres. Fini mastered her first cable car ride with bravery and we enjoyed the fantastic view of the Tux valley.

Equipped with spare nappies, dummies and sun hats, we set off in the direction of the Brandstattalm - our own alpine inn. Here you have a fantastic view of the Stillup Speichersee: the perfect spot to capture Fini's first hike with a photo.

Ding Dong Ding Dong - Accompanied by the ringing of cowbells, we continued leisurely across colourfully blossoming alpine meadows. The next short break was at our family quarter - built by Fini's great-grandfather Josef Moigg. Of course, we couldn't miss a photo for the family album!

With a view of Mayrhofner's local mountains Tristner, Grünberg & Ahornspitze, we mastered the last few metres of altitude almost by ourselves - or perhaps we were driven on by the prospect of a fresh cranberry pancake at the Granatalm. We enjoyed the warm sun and were already planning the next adventures with our Fini.

We save the striking Ahornspitze for later. But maybe the Filzenköpfl with the help of the Ahornbahn? Pfiat enk, until the next mountain tour - Sebastian Moigg with Fini
