Delightful Moments for the Whole Family
At the family-friendly Neuhaus Zillertal Resort, even our youngest guests are well taken care of. At the colorful children’s buffet on the marketplace, new favorite dishes await every day, while the tempting ice cream buffet makes little eyes sparkle. For the tiniest ones, high-quality Holle organic baby food in Demeter quality is available – healthy, natural, and lovingly prepared. During the autumn holidays, children can also enjoy our popular Ruck-Zuck Menus at lunchtime (12:00–14:00) – quick, tasty, and perfectly suited for kids. And at the traditional Zillertal Farmers' & Musical Autumn in Mayrhofen, families can discover regional delicacies, sweet treats, and authentic Zillertal traditions.
Autumn fun
Autumn fun for little explorers - 7 times a week
When autumn bathes the Zillertal in warm light and colorful leaves swirl through the garden, our nature playground turns into a true paradise for children. Young adventurers can go on nature treasure hunts, craft with seasonal materials, decorate gym bags and fly their own homemade kites in the crisp autumn air – with rubber boots and warm jackets at the ready. This way, children enjoy movement, creativity and nature experiences all at once, while parents relax and take in the calm autumn atmosphere. An autumn full of bright children’s smiles, exciting discoveries and unforgettable family moments is waiting for you at the Neuhaus Zillertal Resort.
More than childcare
More than childcare – family experiences at Neuhaus
At the Neuhaus Zillertal Resort, childcare goes far beyond playing and crafting – here, families can experience the beauty of autumn nature together with exciting activities.
Once a week, we take a culinary farm excursion to the Erlebnis-Sennerei, where young adventurers can discover and taste regional specialties. Back at the resort, Seppi’s Wasserspaß with racing slides awaits little water lovers, along with a cheerful bowling afternoon where the balls roll and fun is guaranteed.
Another guest favorite is our family yoga (at least once a week), which brings children and parents into motion, provides relaxation, and creates precious moments together.

„Da Summa is summa“: Almabtrieb
04. Oktober 2025
Experience the Almabtrieb in the Zillertal up close at the Neuhaus Zillertal Resort – your family hotel in the heart of the mountains. On October 4th, our cows return from the alpine pastures in the Stilluptal to the valley, turning autumn into an unforgettable experience for the whole family. For little explorers, there are plenty of creative activities: mask making, painting in Seppi’s studio, or weaving flower crowns – all lovingly crafted by themselves. Together, we welcome the cows back to the valley and enjoy this special moment right in the middle of autumn nature. A colorful autumn full of children’s laughter, nature experiences, and family time awaits you at the Neuhaus Zillertal Resort – a highlight for all generations.
Halloween at Neuhaus –
Spooky Fun for the Whole Family
Celebrate Halloween in the Zillertal with the whole family at the Neuhaus Zillertal Resort. Two days full of spooky fun, pumpkin art, and magical lights await brave children and relaxed parents. On October 30, parents and kids get creative during pumpkin carving on the terrace, accompanied by punch and mulled wine. On October 31, Halloween face painting, a spooky mini disco, and the thrilling ghost trail through the pumpkin forest will light up children’s eyes. Adults can also enjoy the spooky charm: a themed sauna with special Halloween infusions such as Pumpkin Spice, Witch’s Scent, or show infusions like “The Witch’s Curse” and “Vampire Night,” along with a Kneipp walk with a Halloween twist, complete the experience.
St. Martin’s Lantern Festival at Neuhaus
To round off the autumn holidays, we celebrate a heartfelt St. Martin’s Festival for the whole family. Children craft their own Seppi lanterns, which will then shine brightly during the lantern parade through the garden. Punch and mulled wine create cozy moments for young and old alike, as we bring autumn to a close together. The festival is traditionally rounded off with the Martinigansl served à la carte in our Stuben – a culinary highlight for the whole family.
